CZ-USA announces the return of the Carbine

CZ-USA will reintroduce the popular CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62 X 39 Russian, at the 2003 SHOT Show in Orlando Fl.

After a short hiatus the 7.62 Carbine returns in 2003.

The CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62 X 39 Russian is designed to be a light weight brush gun in the inexpensive but potent 7.62 X 39 caliber.

The CZ 527 Carbine is a conventional Mauser style turn bolt with claw extractor and fixed ejector, it also features the same “micro length” action as the rest of the CZ 527 line and is fitted with a detachable 5 round magazine. As with all CZ centerfire rifles, the Carbine is equipped with a single set trigger. The Carbine weighs in at just under 6 lbs. and is only 37.4” long, with a 18.5” hammer forged barrel and iron sights it’s perfect for the brush or tight hunting blinds.
