Description
Clad in a classic Mannlicher-style stock, the CZ 527 FS (meaning ‘Full Stock’) is one classy varmint rifle. Chambered in .223, it has a metal muzzle cap designed not to bind on the barrel during expansion and contraction.
I have a CZ 527 FS in 222 cal. It puts them in a dime at 50 yards. Very good shooter.
Had 527FS.22Hornet …..put 5 into ONE HOLE @100yds
Had to sell it last winter needed$
still sick over it
I stumbled upon a beautiful CZ550FS in 9.3×62
Mauser. It followed me home and I can’t wait till Elk season gets here.
I love this riffle! CZ has the taste and the look! Such a shame that the full stock is not available in 7.62 x 39. That would be an amazing setup for white tail. I just hope it is in the CZ future to offer this option.
Living here in Las Vegas the hunting opportunities are quite limited. However we are surrounded by desert and coyotes abound along with rabbits. This rifle is perfect for coyotes as it is light and very fast handling. This is important when calling coyotes as they sometimes pop up a lot closer than you expect. My rifle must have a 12 x twist or so since it does not do well with any bullet heavier than 55 gr. But with a 52 gr bullet this thing shoots lights out every time I do my part. I tried hunting with a scope but I found most of my opportunities to get a shot at a coyote were somewhere between 25 yds to 75 yds. Much too close to use a scope effectively. By all standards this is an excellent rifle. The fit and finish is flawless, smooth bolt action and with the single set trigger accuracy is outstanding. It also is a very good looking rifle with the full length stock. If they could only come up with a rotating magazine that would not stick out below the lines of stock it would be perfect. The Savage 99, from way back in the 1800’s had such a magazine and they are hard to find and expensive when found. Come on CZ this rifle with a rotary magazine in 7.62 x 39MM, 300 Blackout or 6.5x55MM as options would be fantastic.
I’ve had this rifle for several years. The styling is very attractive and the rifle light and lively. It shoots well and handles wonderfully. It’s my second CZ rifle and I’d buy again without hesitation.
I ordered a full stock .223 in 2007 and it has remained my favorite ever since. It currently wears a Weaver V-3 scope mounted with Warne rings. The action is beautifully simple and slick, the single-set trigger could not be better, and the stock design is aesthetically perfect. I’d love to acquire a second 527 in 300 AAC Blackout someday.
Just bought this rifle to compliment my 452 FS in .22. If the 527 shoots as well as the 452 I will be a very happy man. Judging by the comments I see here and elsewhere I expect to be indeed happy with my purchase. The future may see a CZ FS in 308Win as well.
I really like the 223 I have and would love to see this gun in a 17 hornet
Had the opportunity to handle the 7.62x39mm carbine version of this in a gun store this past weekend… it handled like lightning, and pointed like a dream. Seemed very well made.
Thank you for your fine craftsmanship.
Really love this gun, I would love to see it in 300 AAC or even 7.62×39 or even the 6.8

I own 5 cz rifles and one sxs shotgun. The craftsmanship and precision rivals the finest mausers that my uncle in Germany owns. He came to Idaho elk hunting with me some years ago and harvested a nice bull with my 550 American in 30-06. I only wish I could own more of them.
