Product Description

Designed in 1975, the CZ 75 is the flagship model of the CZ handgun line with over one million produced. An entire family of pistols is available based on the basic CZ 75 design: compacts, decockers, single action only, ambidextrous, alloy frames as well as competition pistols. The 75 B features a steel frame, a black polycoat finish, 3 dot sights, 16+1 9mm capacity (10+1 in .40 S&W) and, of course, the ergonomics and DA/SA action that have made it the most copied handgun design second only to the 1911. The ‘B’ designation is an indicator that the model is equipped with a firing pin block safety. CZ 75 B is used by more governments, militaries, police and security agencies than any other pistol in the world. The CZ 75 is quite possibly the perfect pistol.

  1. :

I was at my LGS and saw the CZ-75B in 40 S&W. It is one gun I had wanted to give a spin and after putting it in my hand and trying the trigger a few times, I was sold.

At the range I was delighted to find she shot as good as she felt. I started out my career as an LEO a long time ago. I was sent to a POST certified Firearms school for two week of training. Now when I started off shooting at a young age I shot S&W revolvers.

The double action is very close to shooting revolvers and therefore I felt very much at home. I have to say I like the double action better than the Sig Sauer P226. It feels smoother and has a very clean break.

The single action is reminiscent of my 1911’s which I enjoy and carry off, and on duty many times. This gun has replaced my backup gun on my vest since it is the same 40 S&W round I carry on duty in my Glock.

The range time was great. The CZ-75B is a tack driver. Double taps from the double to single action didn’t pose any problems and ALL rounds were in a two inch group from 3,7 and 15 yards of combat shooting. (Combat shooting for me is lining up the sights, squeezing off a round and as soon as I line up the sights, I squeeze off the next round.) This pistol was just perfect to shoot.

The ergonomics of the gun is outstanding!

Recoil of the 40 S&W was surprisingly not very sharp as compared to my Glock Duty weapon.

The fit and finish are very nice and she is a tight gun!

I highly recommend this gun and at a price of a little over $500.00, it is a steal!

One more thing. It fits in my IWB holsters for my 1911’s as well, but not quite in my OWB. So I did buy an nice OWB holster for her.

Great gun, great price, very accurate!
