Added by Dave MilesMy son sent me James Steinmetz CZ link to his .357 Bucket List Buck. I also took my first handgun buck with my DW .357 this year. I also bought it new (first handgun) in 1978 with 8" bull and 4" bull in the pistol pac.. What makes it so strange is that James and I could pass as twins. Too Strange. My son thought the photo and story was from me as this was on my bucket list too! Mine was taken at 45 yards, was an 11 point and scored a 153. -

Added by James SteinmetzI was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January and am now fine after surgery. After my prognosis I made a "bucket list". One of the items was to shoot a deer with a pistol. I shot this 13 point 171 (unofficial) buck with the 1st handgun I ever bought (1978), a Dan Wesson 15V, 8" bull barrel, Federal .357 Mag 130 gr Hydra-Shok Personal Defense ammo. He came out at 70 yards with a doe. Iron sights only from a treestand on a private farm. December 5th, New Lebanon (Montgomery County) Ohio. He has three 14" brow tines. Yours in Him, James A.
