I would like to see Super Mag's back in production. I would love to have a 414.
I would really like to see the Dan wesson .357 ppc or the action cup come back into production, I want to buy one so bad. Anyone know where I can buy one or get one of these guns made? I always thought these guns were the sickest things around.
CZ pistols nice hand guns you should either make a conversion unit for those who have 40 Smith&Wesson's CZ-75 in 357 sig or make'em, also how about a 10 mm CZ-97. DAN WESSON I agree with the others bring back the revolvers 445 super magnum and 357 magnum
I would like to see the interchangeable barrel revolvers returned to production. My first gun bought in 1977 is a 15-2 in 357. Love it.
I purchased my first Dan Wesson .357 in 1981, 12" vent rib heavy barrel. It has harvested white-tail deer, black buck antelope, hogs and coyotes out to 125 yards. I made my own pistol pack, adding a 6" and a 8" barrel (VH series). I did replace the original sights and added Hogue grips for more control. the 12" barrell set up can produce 1-1/2" groups at 100 yards with the right bullet. My sons learned to shoot a revolver and competed with mine at area shoots. I bought each of them a Dan Wesson .357mag. One wanted the 15-2 VH 8" and the other wanted the 15-2 V 6". We have each shot out several barrels, after tens of thousands of rounds. Please, at least make replacement match grade barrels available again...
CZ needs to re-enter the revolver market once again, and start building the MUCH sought after, superb quality, highly accurate revolvers again. Yes, it would be an expensive revolver to build, but then have you ever seen a cheap S&W 460 or 500 Magnum, or Freedom Arms revolver? Ferraris and Lamborginis are expensive, yet they sell, in limited quantities, to a segment of devoted supporters and customers. The big bore DW revolver HAS a devoted and almost insatiable group of supporters and customers - this is an undeniable fact. I own what I believe is the last .414 SuperMag revolver to have left your Norwich, NY facility. I will try to include a photo of it with this message. It is a beautiful gun, with a DW factory high polish job done on the stainless steel. I have owned several DW revolvers over the years, and competed with one extensively in IHMSA long range silhouette competition. It is their .445 with an 8" barrel. It is the most accurate revolver I have ever owned - and I will not part with it. I started in IHMSA with the DW 357 magnum with a 10" barrel. It also brought me several trophies. CZ - please do the smart and right thing and BRING BACK THE DAN WESSON REVOLVER!! If you do, I as a dealer, will give you a purchase order for a quantity of 10 guns to start! My email is waynebachar@msn.com
My first gun was a Dan Wesson VHB-PP (Ventilated rib Heavy Barrel Pistol Pack). With 2,4,6,8" bbls. and .38/.357 and carrying case,it just looked so 'James Bond', ONLY time I ever 'cash advanced' my M/C, HAD to have it and still do. I'm on my 3rd wife since buying it, but still got my Dan Wesson ! Great gun, bring it back.
Please bring back the Dan Wesson revolvers. There is nothing available today that compares. I've been searching. Absolutely LOVE my CBOB, please return that to production and you'll sell tons of them.
Bring back the DW line of revolvers. I have more than a dozen, and I would love to purchase a 22/22M convertible revolver in 8" & 10". What about 45LC? There is a market out there -- dive in an scratch the itch!
Love my RZ-10.Would like to get a 6 inch 357mag DW revolver.Think you would sell a lot of them.Great gun that everybody should have.Always 357 and 38 ammo around. Can't say that about 9mm or 45 anymore.
Let me add my voice to those that would thank God if you brought back the Dan Wesson .357 and .44 mag revolvers. I own both, and among the many semi-autos and pistols I own, they are the best in terms of reliability and performance. They are far less temperamental than Glocks and far easier to service.
As seen below, there are a LOT of folks that would love to see and buy the Dan Wesson line of revolvers! Quality manufactured guns, CZ/Dan Wesson parts for already owned Dan Wessons, this would be GREAT!! I will anxiously watch my CZ newsletters for the arrival of these amazing wheel guns!
There is a serious lack of quality new production revolvers on the market today. I saw several DW revolvers listed in the American Handgunner 2013 buyers guide and was massively disappointed when I visited this site and found out they are no more. I thought for sure I had found some dead ringers. Bring back the revolvers!
title says it all please bring back revolver production. without them a big hole is left in the market just itching to be filled.
It seems to me that a lot of people want the DW-Revolver back and I am one of them. With the Colt Python out of the game you could sell a lot of wheel guns. I would like to see a 327 Federal, 32 H&R, & 357 Mag (medium frame) brought back. All very good carry companions. Also, why are the best revolvers being dropped from the manufacturer's line? Colt & Dan Wesson revolvers for example are the holy grail in precision and accuracy.
I own a 357 Supermag and also the 445 Supermag. Both great guns to shoot. Hope you bring back these series. Love it!!!
I am no cowboy, cop or hunter. I just like the wheels. I have several semi autos and there is not the pride of ownership or the joy of shooting like I have for the revolver. Bring back what we lost..big wheels...
Please bring back your line of revolvers! PLease!!!!!!!
I can't beleve CZ will not listen to the to the public outcry for more revolvers please. please!!!! THANKS
WOW! I can't believe the number of people that are demanding the revolvers on this list. CZ have you got the message Dan Wesson needs to make revolvers. I quote your website "CZ had been looking at Dan Wesson Firearms for its revolvers".
I own a .357 pistol pak and also another .357 6 inch revolver in model 15-2VH Blue. They both shoot very well and accurate. I really want to buy a new .44 mag and a .357 super mag if you would just re-introduce them into production again.
FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE BRING BACK 357 MAG AHHH!!!!!!
Bring back the Dan Wesson revolvers! We want them!!
I'm sorry but the name Dan Wesson shouldn't be on a Colt clone. Please bring back the full line of revolvers!
Please bring back the revolver line! I'd buy one right away.
I love both my 38spcl/357mag and 22 DW revolvers! Unfortunately I have been limiting my shooting time with both because I want them to last to be handed down to our hoped for grandchildren so that they, along with SWMBO's and my children will both experience and know what perfection in a revolver *really* is. And if our children have more than only one child they will be able to have more than just one example of each and not have work out `visitation schedules' for the useage of the 2 revolvers between themselves and their children. {GRIN!} (And, yep...! There already have been talks going on between our children about having to do that themselves. SWMBO and I have to keep reminding them that it is probably only going to get worse once they each have their own children thrown `into the pot' and their children, and SWMBO's and my grandchildren get old enough to start shooting. {VERY BIG GRIN!}) Doleo ergo sum, Halfpint
CZ, PLEASE bring back the Dan Wesson wheel guns. I have a 715 and it is the finest handgun i own. I would love to be able to buy a new pistol pack also a new hunter pack in 44 magnum. From the comments here it seems you wouldn't have any diffaculty selling a lot of guns. Make my year, please reintroduce the Dan Wesson revolver line.
I have a Patriot by Dan Wesson and it is undoubtly the best 1911 I have ever owned. Everyone that tries it loves it and it makes the Kimbers look bad by comparison. Wish you could bring these back as I would buy another is a heartbeat.
I wish you would consider bringing back the 445 Supermag. I had both the 375 and the 445 in the past and had them stolen from my house. I purchased a Smith 460 as a replacement but it is not near the gun the Dan Wesson is.
These two revolvers are widely know in Alaska as the best, last-ditch bear protection. The .445 for me, the .357 for ladies. I'm a man and I carry the .357. So, I'm wierd. But, I've shot all the way through bull moose with that .357 supermax and a 1-14 twist. It works like magic. My DW's shoot like my FA's. Please bring the DW revolvers back
I would love to see the supermags brought back in the DW wheel guns!
I just aquired a DW-Classic or CBOB in 10mm to go along with my RZ-10.What a great pair.If DW or CZ were smart they would reintroduce the Classic-10mm what a great CCW,and they really sell fast on the used gun market if you can ever find one to purchase. Come on CZ your missing out on the market with this great pistol.
We need a special run of those, they are to hard to find used already! Alaskan guide. 44 mag Make it happen
Bring back the Dan Wesson revolvers!!!
I have three 1911's from Dan Wesson, love them all, but would like to see an arched main spring housing offered. I agree though, bring back the 15 series, PLEASE!
I got a RZ45 a couple years ago and it is a great pistol. I was wondering if there was any intrest or thoughts of introducing a 22 conversion kit for the 1911's.
The DW 357 was my first centerfire revolver when it was refined circa 1977. I have owned many different brands since then. It was the most accurate revolver ever. I'd love to have a new one. The only suggestion would be to change the sintered metal trigger/hammer parts, sinter made for a poor DA trigger pull but the SA mode was phenomenol!! Retro is in, check the car industry! :-)
I'd like to see the 15 and 715 reintroduced, this time with emphasis as practical personal defense weapons. I shot a Wesson Arms 3" 715 and was astonished by its balance, smoothness of action, and ease of recovery from recoil. It was even better than my 686 3". I'd recommend ditching the target-oriented 8" barrel and drop the 2.5" barrel in favor of a better-balanced and easier-to-shoot 3" set-up. Cz could market it as a Personal Defense Pack: ∙ 3",4", and 5" VH barrel options with accessory rails ∙ Interchangeable, low-profile/snag-resistant high-visibility or night-sight options ∙ DLC or nitride finish to resist holster wear ∙ Redesign grip to allow addition of weights to optimize balance based on configuration
Dan Wesson revolvers were the epitome of double-action revolver design. You MUST bring at least the .357 & .44 Magnum models back! Just look at the success of S&W's Classic revolvers line. Kickin' myself for not buying a Pistol Pac or two in the 1980s like I should have.
Love this Pistol, Having trouble finding a pair of sights for it though...
I recently acquired a Razorback all i can say is WOW!! What a well built machine. All i need now is a CBOB. CZ pLEASE!!! BRING BACK THE CBOB!! I NEEEED ONE BAD!!!
I own a Dan Wesson 44 Magnum Pistol Pack. It is the finest .44 that I own. Please bring back the revolver line. I want a .445 SuperMag and a .357 SuperMag. Not too concerned about price as they are the best revolvers made.
I was on the original waiting list with the Gates family back in the eighties for a 414 revolver. Of course the co. Closed and we never got them. Please bring them back over thirty years is long enough. And when you do put me on the top if the list!!
I have owned several Dan Wesson revolvers over the years and regret ever selling any of them. Please bring back at least the 445 Alaskan Guide Special and possibly a 44 mag set up the same way !! Please !!
I had to wait over a year to purchase a Pointman 9. When the local shop called to tell they had received 10, I called and asked them to put one aside. The Custom Shop is about 5 miles away from me. By the time I drove down there, they had sold 4 and I got the 5th one. The rest sold out that day. I was so pleased with the gun that I went back and they had a Valor in stock. I bought that one also. A few weeks later they had a CZ 452 Trainer. I have that now. I also have a Dan Wesson 44V and a Model 15V. They are all as accurate as can be. The .357 and 44 must be at least 35 years old. Great guns
As others have said, please bring back the .44 Mag Revolver! It isn't Dan Wesson if you don't offer atleast one revolver.
I have wanted a V-Bob for quite some time and finally got one recently. What a beautiful gun! I own several 1911's but this is by far the best quality production 1911 on the market. The fit and finish on this gun is incredible. There is no reason to spend $2,000 or much more. You won't get anything better.
I have revolvers in .22, 357x2, 32HR, 41Mag, and 44Mag. Would love to have one (new) in 357MAX. We all know that the revolvers are expensive to manufacture but you have a very devoted bunch of followers.
as others have said please bring back the revolver line! would love to have a 44mag with the ags treatment
I have owned a Monson Model 15, made the mistake of selling it and have now gotten Danny Boy back in the form of the 715. I have made much food with both of them. I am desperate for a 7445 8 or 10 inch, you absolutely must begin production again on the revolvers. Magnum Research is taking business from you and they don't offer the venerable 445 SM. Please, please bring back the SuperMags. You have one if not two sold the day you do.
I just purchased a RZ 45 Heritage. It's the second Dan Wesson Pistol I own. These guns are the best. Dont let the price scare you. Trust me. Shoots Bullseyes on the first 10 rounds and doesnt stop. I guarantee you wont be dissapointed
I recently purchased a Dan Wesson Valor in Black. After handling, shooting and completely examining the build quality I am 110% convinced that the Valor is the ABSOLUTE BEST VALUE in the 1911 market BAR-NONE. The Dan Wesson Valor is on par IMHO with full custom 1911s costing TWICE what the Valor retails for. The fit and finish is absolutely flawless and the accuracy phenomenal. The new Duty-coat (Melonite???) finish is tough as nails and says ALL BUSINESS. Everything on this gun is fitted so well (AND NO MIM PARTS) I cannot believe it sells at this price-point. The low-key esthetics of the no frills, no billboard logo on the slide beg bystanders at the range to inquire what sort of 1911 it is. I am VERY PROUD owner of the Valor and will most likely sell 5 more by word of mouth by weeks end. EXCELLENT JOB and CONGRATS to the builders at Dan Wesson. I will be a repeat customer.
I love this gun i wouldn't trade it for anything the finish is amazing. My next one will be a Specialist.
I Just want to add what others have said, bring back your fine revolvers, I own one in 357 magnum and in 44 magnum, I love both, I will add one recomendation, I would like to see a little wider trigger, that is textured or has searations so your finger doesnot slide or slip off easy, also bring back the 445 super magnum
I own a model 744 revolver and think it is great! Hope they will start making revolvers again and real soon!
I own two Dan Wesson revolvers.357mag and 445. two beautiful guns and my favorite out of all my handguns!!I am missing the 44mag in the hunter pack!!!!! I wish that you were making revolver to for fill my dream!!
I spent over a year researching the ~$1100 1911 market, walked into the store to buy a Kimber and got a Dan Wesson RZ45 instead. The shop owner said he had been thinking of buying it himself! I've shot it every weekend since buying it, at least 100 rounds each time, never had a malfunction
I purchased a Kimber Pro Eclipse II last year. It looked great, felt great, rendered good groups, but jammed repeatedly, even using a variety a ammo. I sent it to Kimber and they worked on it. It was better, but still jammed too much. Yesterday, I traded it in and paid the difference for a new Dan Wesson Valor (all stainless). I shot 400 rounds today using three different brands of ammo without a single jam! The Valor performs flawlessly, and exhibits higher build quality in materials, machining, and craftsmanship. It is very "smooth" mechanically, and felt like it had already been broken in. The trigger pull is perfect for me, and it fits all of my leather. I'm a very satisfied customer.
In 2001 my Dad passed on and I inherited his rifles and shotguns. It was 3 months after his death that I saw a picture of a Dan Wesson PM7 in a firearms magazine and from then on I dreamed of owning one. In August of 2009 I was visiting a pawn shop and lo and begorrah there was a PM7 for sale, in very good condition. But I couldn't afford it. Two weeks later I walked in and saw it was still there. So, I talked to one of the guys, made a deal, and put it on layaway! 2 months later it was mine!! Oct. 9, 2009 is a day I will always remember for this was the day I took it home and made a dream come true.
My first time to own a 1911. Pictures do them no justice. I put 60 or so rounds through it the first time I shot it. The next day I qualified with a (best in the class) perfect score on the range for my TX CHL. I can't say enough about the accuracy. It was the trigger, and craftsmanship that sold me, over a Kimber of the same price range. The difference to me was like night and day. It's just as enjoyable to clean as it is to fire Beautiful .45!
I love it! So dang purdy and shoots like a dream!
