Haven't purchased a rifle in 35 years. Just bought a CZ 452 Special .17 HMR to handle a recent squirrel problem here in the foothills of the Smokie Mountains. Slapped a CenterPoint AR22 scope on it and was shootin dimes at 100 yds in under 15 rounds. This rifle replaces my old Winchester Model 72 .22LR. I can't believe the quality and out of the box performance of the CZ 452. Once I trick out the trigger she'll out perform $1200 target rifles.

I purchased my first CZ a 452 in 22LR in April, 2006. I have since purchased a 527, two 550's and a 452 in 17 M2. There are no finer or more accurate rifles for the money. I recently fires these 50 yard groups.

I just had to do these modifications to my 452 FS, people at the range think its a centerfire at first.
