First semi automatic - Added 2 days, 6 hours ago. Added by George
I bought a cz75bd on a recomendation from the sales clerk, he said it was highly accurate and easy to handle.he said he bought one and has put over four thousand rounds through it.It has lived up to his pitch, and since I was hooked on revolvers,I like the smooth action and consider it a good deal for the price.

I have owned many popular pistols and my cz75bd will be mine forever. A friend who disliked all 9's. A 1911 45 shooter, changed his mind after trying my cz. and shooting one hole groups. Love this gun!!
CZ75BD vs Berretta 92FS - Added 1 month, 1 week ago. Added by Jim Ramski
I had a Berretta 92FS which is the civilian version of the M9. It was stolen & my insurance did not pay enough to replace it. I shopped around & bought the CZ75 for the money I got and I have to say I am SO GLAD this happened! I found the CZ75 a much better handling & shooting pistol for MUCH less money! The trigger is much better than I expected in a SA/DA model, It naturally holds point of aim, & shoots everything I feed it. I also own a Ruger P95 & Walther P-38 (among others)in full 9mm but the CZ75 is the one I always grab... I do much prefer the decocker models, especially considering the many Glock 'accidental' discharges.
I now tell ANYONE who will listen that the CZ75 is the better pistol. My ONLY negative is the lack of an open slide stop. I was denied use of it in a CC class because the slide does not stay open to indicate a clear chamber. It is not a specific issue to me but I am surprised by this lack. in all other aspects the CZ75 rates a 10 of 10 in my opinion.
I own many (over a dozen) European CZ pistol models & have talked many into buying the earlier imported CZ pistols, but had no experience w/ CZ-USA before this. I am certainly sold on CZ for the quality and reliability offered at such a fair cost.
Thanks...
Update:
I recently posted feedback about my CZ75BD stating disappointment with its lack of slide lock, but have just found the problem was not the pistol.. I had installed a recoil buffer before ever firing & the buffer was holding slide back slightly, but enough to prevent lock to engage. I have since remedied & pleased to say my CZ75 works flawlessly.

I've owned a CZ-75 BD for three years now. Put around 2500 rds through it. By far the most accurate semi-auto I've ever fired. I've become a big advocate and have led three friends to CZ. Great guns!
