The Phantom is a full 33% lighter than the steel framed models making it ideal for all day carry.

Retaining the superior grip geometry of the SP-01, the Phantom has less perceived recoil than models of similar weight and power, and is unmatched in its natural point of aim.

The Phantom has a 18+1 round capacity in 9mm and will also accept all previous CZ 75 model magazines (both full and restricted capacity).

      I purchased the CZ SP-01 Phantom two days ago and have been to the range with it once. On the first target, first group fired out of the pistol I put five rounds into 1.5 inches, of those five, four rounds went into a single ragged group at 12 yards. The pistol is incredibly lightweight, has a fantastic trigger pull both in SA and DA. Ergonomically it is superior to just about any other pistol I have ever owned. My only quibble is that it does not offer the safety system available on the other SP-01 models. Other than that it is the ultimate self defense or competition pistol, bar none. I have been shooting handguns and rifles from a very early age, my background in hunting and target shooting has afforded me the opportunity to shoot and own just about every make and model of pistol and rifle available. I am a 16 year veteran of the US Army in the Infantry with two combat tours in Iraq as well as Desert Storm. I train constantly with issue and personal weapons and teach others when I can. I can unequivocally recommend this pistol to those interested in either personal defense, target shooting/competition and yes, even military applications. Well done CZ! Again! SSG Steven I Szabo
