The Phantom is all about combining full-sized shootability and firepower (18+1 rounds of 9mm Luger) with all-day carry comfort. The polymer construction and radically scalloped forged steel slide make the SP-01 Phantom one of the lightest full-size autos out there. In fact, it is a full 33% lighter than the steel-framed models, making it ideal for all-day carry.
Retaining the superior grip geometry of the SP-01, the Phantom has less perceived recoil than models of similar weight and power, and is unmatched in its natural point of aim.
The Phantom features a decocking lever, accessory rail and two interchangable grip inserts to accommodate users with different sized hands. It has an 18+1 round capacity in 9mm and will also accept all previous CZ 75 model magazines (both full and restricted capacities).

i have phantom very sexy pistols i love it so much i have fired more than 300 round very good accuracy and no problem at all
100%Perfect Pistol light weight/less perceived recoil + magnificent fire power.
What a great gun the CZ 75 SP-01 is! It is very comfortable, has little recoil, and is so amazingly accurate that it makes me look good! Two problems, though. I love it so much that I burn through WAY too much ammo. And friends that have shot it, want one, and can't get them. CZ needs to be more of a presence in the market.
I've owned all four - Phantom, SP01, Tactical and Shadow and firmly believe that these variants of the 75 family line offers great value. The Phantom has been comprehensively reviewed here from end-user persepctive http://thegunforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=824
after months of researching target pistols, i decided on the cz 75 shadow target. this is the best target pistol i have ever owned. the target comes into view clearly with the sights and the trigger job by cz custom shop is super light and smooth...i don't want to shoot anything else now
SP-01 is one great high capacity 9 on the market. I have had Rugers and Brownings but the CZ is much lighter and holds very well in the hand. The gun falls on target almost by it's self. Good gun for the scratch!
Love it!
I received a cz-75 sp-01 for christmas and a love it. very light weight and durable and low recoil makes this an amazing firearm for anyone.
As I shoot IPSC with a Shadow, I thought that the Phantom would make a great gun for everyday carry, duty and concealed alike. I was not disappointed! Gun points and shoots very nicely, is of a decent weight and conceals easily. The trigger is not quite as smooth as the Shadow's, but is definitely on par for self defense use. My quest for holsters is complete: Remora IWB for CCW, Fobus Paddle light holster (G17 version) for OWB carry, a Front Line KNG/HDL for law enforcement and an Uncle Mike's Pro 3 for military use. Recommended gun.
New favorite gun to shoot. Absolutely awesome. Put 900 rounds through her in the last month and every one went bang. Ergonomics are perfect, deep fit. Craftsmenship is excellent. Accuracy is remarkable and am back on target in a heartbeat. My group shoots a lot of guns...Glocks, Beretta, SIGs...but all want to shoot the CZ to get the 2 inch groupings. Just really want to say, Thank You.
Love the Phantom. I usally take at least 6 guns to the range with me and have decided to shoot the Phantom last. It's hard to enjoy the others if I don't. It is the most accurate 9mm. I've ever fired...followed closely by my 2003 75B. Don't have the right holster for carry yet but that will change soon. This is the first gun I've ever ordered without firing it first. It's a keeper.
I had this gun for less than a year. It broke after less than 2000 rounds. I contacted CZ and got a warranty authorization number. Sent my gun off and got it back less than a month later. Rather than receiving my own gun back, I received a brand new gun. Hope this one holds up. I am pleased with the service.
Let me say that I purchase a lot of pistols - recently HKs, SIGs, Berettas, Springfields, Glocks. Aside from the Springfield XD, and the Glock which are different designs and are not a good comparison, the CZ 75 SP-01 is the best pistol I have ever shot. All of the features are exactly as they should be. The grips, the position of the slide release, magazine release, safety or decocker, balance, weight capacity, trigger, profile, fit, finish, and accuracy for me are far above the brands above for their similar models. The Price to Performance makes it a much better value to me than the competition. The biggest selling point for me are the factory Night Sites supplied with the pistol - which is one of my first requirements. I mean - why would'nt you have them ? The pistol is almost useless at night for carry and self-defense situations without Night Sites - I know, I have tried to use them - even with tac lights. The use of a laser is a little better, but I have pistols, in the 40 S&W in particular that "shoot" the laser "loose" and would always want Night Sights as a backup. Two weeks ago, I purchased a CZ 75 SP-01 9mm standard with the safety. I liked the pistol so much, I just purchased the CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical in 40 S&W. I would also purchase a Phantom if it could be had with Night Sights. I know I can add them, but they are never the same as factory and any pistol I have installed afterward always has a few more dings or scratches as a result. Besides - I love the NS supplied with the CZ 75 SP01s. Please pass this on and keep up the good work !!! You have a very satisfied customer.
Fairly new to handguns, am looking for locking holster for the Phantom to take part in USPSC competition
I liked my 2003 CZ 75B but wanted something with a little less weight. The SP-01 is exactly what I wanted. I put 300+ rnds through it right out of the box (after checking and cleaning of course) with no problems at all. The decocking lever was heavier than I expected but I seldom use it anyway. The most accurate 9mm I've ever fired. Even better than my old '80 P-6. I see a compact CZ in my future.
This gun shoots awesome. I was able to Qualify with it the first day I owned it. I do wish there were a few holster options out there. that is the only downfall i have found.
From the Editor - Holsters are available from High Noon and Blade Tech with more to come. Rings is now supplying Blue Guns for the Phantom to holster makers.
