The CZ Ultimate Hunting Rifle (UHR) is a new CZ 550 based rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum that comes in at 8 lbs, and includes a minute of angle accuracy guarantee to 600 yards (when purchased as a package with Nightforce 5.5-22 scope & CZ one piece rings) . By maintaining quality control standards unheard of in the industry, the Ultimate Hunting Rifle delivers a level of accuracy formerly only available from high-end custom rifle smiths. We recommend usage of Premium or Match Grade ammunition.

      Got this eland, my first ever, with my UHR and learned CZ is the workhorse of Africa. My PH had both a .375 and .270 CZ. I own 5 CZ rifles, redhead shotgun, and a CZ-75 I cant say enough about the CZ line.

      330+ yard high angle shot. Best shooting rifle I've ever owned. That's saying a bunch considering I'm a former Marine Scout/Sniper. Ohra 2/1 STA Platoon and Ohra CZ! Semper Fidelis.

      I and my Bushmen trackers followed this old bull for many hours through the dense scrub of Farm Woltemade [Rolf and Marion Ritter] in Namibia: we finally caught up with him as he waited to see what was coming after him and a single shot with the CZ 550 Med Mag in 300 Win Mag killed him cleanly. The rifle was perfect in those conditions: light, short and very reliable. I also liked the traditional German style [it is a very Germanic culture there] for this trip. The binos are Leica and the scope is Burris - all flawless.
