CZ-USA Announces Two Models chambered for .204 Ruger

Kansas City, KS – 1 June 2003 – CZ-USA is pleased to introduce the CZ 527 American and the CZ 527 Varmint in .204 Ruger, available in July 2004.

The CZ 527 VARMINT in .204 Ruger comes with a 25.5”, 1 in 12” twist heavy barrel that tapers to .75” at the muzzle and an American black walnut, varmint pattern stock.

The CZ 527 American in .204 Ruger comes with a 22”, 1 in 12” twist sporter weight barrel, and is available in field or fancy grade American black walnut, maple, brown laminate, spring camo laminate, and sunset camo laminate American pattern stocks.

The new rifle retains all of the features that makes the 527 a favorite among shooters, from its controlled round feed, claw extractor to its single set trigger, and hammer forged barrel. Scope mounts are integrated into the forged, square bridge receiver (rings are included with the 527 American model only). The rifle comes with a 5 round, detachable box magazine.
