I found my SDP in 2025, sitting as a used piece on the shelf of a small local gun shop. I was already considering a 75 compact, but once I felt the trigger action on the custom there was no going back. A new custom shop pistol was out of my price range but I could swing the cost of a pre owned one.
I think this is the nicest, most accurate pistol I own. The trigger is the best I’ve ever felt and the gun feels like part of my hand.
Mine is a little different in the sense that the lower frame is obviously a p-01 but the slide is stamped “CZ 75D compact” rather than “p-01”
All the serial numbers match so, no worries.
I can’t wait to get the CZ custom treatment done to my shadow2
